Ninove

Details

In search of a warm homely atmosphere

The owners of this property in Nederhasselt close to Ninove, contacted interior designer Shanaz Razik with the request for a warm and modern interior for their home. A neutral color palette of grey and beige in combination with sleek black and warm white forms the basis of my custom interior concept for these clients. The addition of various wooden materials and textures results in a cozy interior where it is very pleasant to live in.

One home, one concept

The concept I developed for this house consists of a well thought of combination of open and closed elements. I have extended this to every room, from the dining area to the hobby room. Even in the toilet, the made-to-measure cupboards have closed doors and open recesses to neatly store the toilet brush and soap dispenser, so that the rooms maintain their relaxing atmosphere while providing some interesting spaces for those special personal displays.

Made-to-measure custom work with added value

An explicit request from the clients was to be able to store all coats and shoes neatly in the entrance hall. I came up with a stylish solution for this, in the form of a unique cloakroom cupboard. An eye-catching ‘statement piece’, completely custom made for this client. This kind of tailor-made elements offers an unmistakable added value to a home. These are details that I, as an interior designer, attach a great deal of importance to in order to offer a personal living concept that is worked out to perfection to all my clients.

Modern home office

An important part of this interior design project was to create a modern home office for a budding entrepreneur. For this purpose, the warm, neutral color palette based on grey, beige, black and white was extended from the rest of the house into the home office. This way, the house forms one entity with the same ‘vibe’ in every room. The floating desktops in the office space provide sufficient working space without taking up too much space in the small area. Tailor-made cupboards are subtly integrated under and above the desktop. They are made of warm veneer wood, which provides a nice contrast to the slightly cooler black worktop. Finally, lounge chairs in luxurious fabrics create a cozy corner where clients can be received in peace and quiet.

Careful selection of every detail

Not a single detail is overlooked in this interior concept. The lighting is also an excellent example of this. In playful black it forms a nice contrast with the white ceiling. This is of course not a coincidence. All accessories, from the sleek wall clock to the colorful flowers, are carefully selected by Shanaz Razik to give an extra ‘touch’ to the finish of the house. After all, clients deserve a unique and personal interior, going beyond even their expectations!
